Our Domiciliary Care Service in brief:

Ranges from light domestic tasks, such as shopping or cleaning, to more personal care, such as help with using the toilet, washing, bathing and getting dressed. With your help we will assess your requirements and provide the care you feel that you need, producing a care plan that respects your wishes and personal goals. This will be re-assessed as frequently as necessary.

We realise arranging care/support in your own home is a daunting task and not always easy to understand but we are happy to help. Changes are taking place in the way people receive their care to give them more choice and freedom.

Our Personal Care Service:

You may find you need a little support with tasks that have begun to be difficult due to, perhaps, restricted mobility/an accident/illness. Your needs may be short term, holiday care or longer term. Whatever your requirements, we offer a high quality and friendly service in your own home.

We can help with getting up, bathing and getting dressed and, at the other end of the day, going to bed. We can also help with catheter care and P.E.G feed. We can prepare meals and keep you company during meals, if required. You may also need help with light domestic tasks such as vacuuming, laundering clothes or washing up.

Our Social Care Service:

You may find that a gradual lack of confidence prevents you from doing everyday tasks such as shopping. We can shop for you or are happy to accompany you to the shops.

We can also accompany you to hospital or GP appointments and to dental, optical or chiropody visits.

We also offer an escort service if you wish to be accompanied to the library or theatre or want to visit a local place of interest.

GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE (Direct Payments)

We can guide you, or fully assist you, in applying for and receiving Direct Payments.
