Welcome to Kepplegate Residential Home's Care team. All of our care staff have taken a moment to introduce themselves to you. 

 

Dawn Shepherd

Hi, I’m Dawn. I’ve been at Kepplegate for over 20years. My job as housekeeper keeps me busy as there is always lots to do. I also deliver meals to our clients in the community.  My husband is called Ben and together we have a daughter, Amy. My hobbies include gardening and DIY.

Cheryl Renshaw

My name is Cheryl Louise Renshaw. I am married with 2 daughters. I am originally from Liverpool and have lived and worked in Knott End for 10 Years. I am the Kitchen Manager and Head Cook at Kepplegate Care Home. I have always had an interest in cooking and have been cooking since I was a young teenager. I have passed my cooking exams and have been cooking professionally for the last 12 years. I love my job and I am very happy with what I do. 

Hazel Mining

Hi, my name is Hazel and I am originally from Manchester. I have worked in the care sector for almost 30 years. I have two daughter and five grandchildren. I enjoy writing poetry and have had a couple of my poems published. I have taught Latin and American dance and have a diploma in cake decoration. 

Luigi Hernandez

Hi, my name is Luigi Hernandez and I have worked as a Night Care Assistant for Kepplegate since May 2010 but I have been caring since 2007. I have attended many training courses and have also completed my NVQ level 2. I enjoy caring for all of our residents and I enjoy working with the team too!

I play basket ball and I go to church every Tuesday and Saturday as well as enjoying spending time and going out with my friends and family. 

Galia Mullineux

My name is Galia and I come from Bulgaria. My Husband is English. I have lived in England for 10 years and really like it here. I enjoy talking to people, reading books and going for long walks. 

 

Sam Delamere

My name is Samantha but I prefer to be called Sam. I changed my career into care after working in a pub. I used to work with disabled children and I enjoyed helping people. My main hobby is football and I support Man Utd (of course!) I have lots of pets including; 2 dogs, a naughty cat called Dave, 3 lizards, a rabbit and a turtle.

Jun Dorillo

I’m Mr. Jun Dorillo and I work at Kepplegate Rest Home as a care assistant. I have worked here nearly 3 and a half years. I have completed my NVQ level 2 as well as many other courses like First Aid, Dementia, and Medication Management, My hobbies include volley ball and basketball. I enjoy my job serving the older people. 

 

Tammy Fisher

Hi I am Challaine Fisher but they call me Tammy. I am originally from the Philippines but I have lived in the UK for 6 years. I am married and my husband is called Adrian. I enjoy shopping, cooking, singing and sometimes doing exercise. I am currently working as a member of the night staff for nearly six years. I have completed several courses including my NVQ. I love looking after our residents here at Kepplegate Rest Home.

Sarah Gray

My name is Maricel Gray and I am originally from the Philippines. I have been married to my husband Martin for 20 years this year and we have two sons together. In the past I enjoyed travelling and working around Asia until I finally settled down in England around 8 Years ago. I love cooking and work as the second chef here at Kepplegate. I am also a carer here and I have been caring for 7 years achieving my NVQ level 2 in care as well as my Food Hygiene level 2
 

Becky Thornton

Hi, I’m Rebecca but I Like to be called Becky. I enjoy football (I support Liverpool) and any other sports that keep me fit and healthy. This is my first job in care and I chose to change my career to this as my Nan was a nurse. When she became ill her carers mad a real difference for her. From then on I decided that I wanted to give back and be there for other people. I’ve been working at Kepplegate for a few months now.
